Fun for the whole family unit

Sat Sep 24, 2005, 11:43 AM
Been an interesting year. In the last year or so I've been working on a new type of neural network / self-learning matrix that is capable of some truly amazing feats in small doses. On a recent trip back up to Pittsburgh I acquired 100 hours on NSF computers to run experiments thanks to my friend Kevin Lenzo that I used to work with at Cepstral doing the Speech Synthesis thing: [link]

Also, my wife and I split up in the last year, it's been very odd, since she and I are still trying to remain good friends. Anyone who disses her will face the wrath of mandrake.

I am also currently looking for a real job in any location around the country - hard core technical guru seeks job that will allow ample free time to work on side project of dominating the universe.

I do live. Been damn busy, in the middle of a divorce, etc (yes tam and I are still friends) and I've let my website go to hell. ON THE PLUS SIDE I have built the coolest piece of technology I've ever worked on before.

karizon@gmail.com works and I actually read it right now. my webserver got hacked while I was in "do not give a rats ass" mode and is 3000 miles away or so and so is irrecoverable and lost to the ages until I get it back one of these days.

Who'da thought ;p

I see you're doing experiments on vision, pattern recognition, etc.. Is that a personal perk, or is it for work (or both)?

I'm studying for a B.Sc. in Computational Linguistics, so I'm interested in pattern recognition and learning.
